The primary objective of the Fondation Bâtiment-Energie - which is funded 50% by the four founding members and 50% by the state - is to help the construction industry achieve Factor 4 performance levels by 2050. To do this, it funds research carried out by the organisations that win its calls for projects.
As the Fondation Bâtiment- Energie was recognised as being of public benefit in 2005, it is entitled to receive donations and bequests. Part of these donations can be claimed as a tax rebate on presentation of the receipt, in accordance with current tax laws.

If you are a company go to:

• The Founders' Club, reserved exclusively for companies wishing to make a donation greater than or equal to that of the founding members, i.e. 1 million Euros. New Founders are invited to take part in Board meetings in an advisory capacity. Founders are invited to take part in project progress reviews.
• The Donors' Club, reserved exclusively for companies wishing to make a donation of €200,000 or more. The members of the Donors' Club elect a president, who is invited to take part in Board meetings in an advisory capacity.  Donors are invited to take part in project progress reviews.
• The Sponsors' Club, reserved exclusively for companies wishing to make a donation of at least €20,000. The company's name will appear in the Sponsors' Club members list, on the Foundation's website.

Donations to the Foundation qualify for R&D relief for corporation tax. For further information, go to:

• The Supporters' Club. Should you so wish, upon your request, your name will appear in the Supporters' Club members list, on the Foundation's website.

The Foundation's annual accounts and annual report will be sent to all Supporters upon their request.
